Socially Responsible Areas of Practice

financial services

The world of financial services is ever growing and evolving, and we’re not just talking about stock trends.

The financial activities sector of the U.S. economy is an area that shows promise in growth between 2014-2024. The U.S. Department Labor, Bureau Labor Statistics indicates that wages in the financial activities sector are projected to have a compounded growth rate of 2.0% over the next decade. Additionally, the percentage of minorities employed in the banking and finance industry is as low as 8.2% for Asians and remains below 12% across the board for African Americans and Hispanics. Further, in the securities industry, only 36.5% of people employed are women. When compared with the banking industry, 25.4% fewer women work in the securities industry of the financial sector. Furthermore, the racial disparity in the securities industry is the most stark with 6.2% of those employed in the sector being African American and 5.6% of those employed in the sector being Hispanic.

With the consistent introduction of diverse and inclusive candidate slates, the opportunity for growth extends, but so does the complexity. That’s where we come in.

healthcare

The way people manage their health is constantly in flux, so leadership must adapt quickly. Focus & Find strives to anticipate these changes so you can focus more on driving business and not managing vendors whom do not help you achieve an inclusive culture.

The healthcare sector is projected to be the largest area of growth between 2014-2024. The U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau Labor Statistics estimates that the healthcare sector will enjoy the fastest employment growth due to the large aging population.

Specifically, the aging population will lead to a higher demand for all types of health care services from hospitals to short-term and long-term facilities, home health care, physicians, pharmacies, and clinical services. Hospital administration and pharmacy are the two industries on which we focus.

With the consistent introduction of diverse and inclusive candidate slates, the opportunity for healthcare providers to better be representative of their clients extends, but so does the complexity. That’s where we come in.

Technology

The internet, software, and technology are so pervasive that we can’t remember having ever lived without them. They make our lives simpler, but behind the curtain are fluctuating challenges in protection —challenges that our firm stays two steps ahead of.

The information technology sector of the U.S. economy is an area that shows promise in growth between 2014-2024. The U.S. Department Labor, Bureau Labor Statistics indicates the IT sector has a 2.1% compounded projected growth rate during this time period.

Moreover, employment data from the U.S. Census Bureau indicate 22% fewer women are employed in the IT sector compared with the total employment of women across all sectors.

Additionally, wide worker disparities exist in the IT industry for persons of Black and Hispanic culture.

Further, Focus & Find has identified four distinct occupations within the IT industry on which to focus its’ search engagement.

With the consistent introduction of diverse and inclusive candidate slates, the opportunity for technology providers to better be representative of their technology users extends, but so does the complexity. That’s where we come in.
